Positive or negative, inspiration is inspiration. I'm not sure why this hasn't happened sooner actually, but Oscar has inspired a rap song by local rap artist Superstar Mason, aka Mason Mandela, entitled Oscar. The song is controversial to say the least but humorous at the same time. Mason compares and pokes fun at alleged "Bonang" beater Euphonik and also compares himself to Oscar and his abilities to skip jail and eliminate his problems.
The song is recorded on a very grungy, raw and edgy beat with a heavy drum influence and Mason's rap incorporates an catchy flow with attitude making you rap along the 2nd time you listen to it. It's about time our rappers took risks liike these and made light of some serious situations. We need more publicity stunts like these.
