The latest Forbes list which ranks the most powerful celebrities in the world has Oprah Winfrey in first place with estimated earnings of $315. Winfrey reclaims the top spot after being knocked off it last year by Angelina Jolie who is ranked just 18th this year.

U2 were the highest placed Irish people on the list with earnings this year of an estimated $130 million.
Lady Gaga is the highest newcomer in the list, based on earnings and global exposure, and overshot Madonna who came in at number 10.
Avatar director James Cameron returns to the list in third place for the first time since 1999, earning $210 million.
Despite a chaotic personal life and some professional setbacks, golfer Tiger Woods is at number five with $105 million.
