No one saw this one coming, I bet even Wizkid himself didn’t foresee this one.
Drake and Skepta have hopped on Wizkid’s HIT single Ojuelegba which first streamed on Drake’s OVO Apple Music Radio Show earlier today. From our understanding, Skepta played this track for Drake while he was out in the UK for the Wireless festival and Drake decided to lay his verse on it and you can tell that he was really into the track.
Looks like Wizkid is closer to crossing over than many of you thought.
This is the biggest thing that's happened for African music since Dbanj got signed by Kanyes GOOD MUSIC record label. Its bigger than a BET award if you ask me. Check the track out HERE.
We know that any track drake jumps on is almost a guaranteed hit and for IloveMakonen it mean a record deal with ovo and a platinum selling song. Is this a possibility for Wizkid now? We certainly hope so.
