Weekend Update:DJ Sbu in more Limpopo Trouble, Magesh Off The Rails, Kid Cudi Suicidal After Leaving G.O.O.D Music

EFF SUPPORTERS GUN FOR DJ-SBU

Seems like the only bhari here is DJ Sbu, after he's comments saying people from Limpopo are stupid (amabhari) scores of people led by the EFF have protested against the METRO FM DJ. Not only are they burning his cds and cds of his label mates like Zahara and Nhlanhla Nciza, but they are also attempting to get him thrown off his Sound Revival Metro FM show and off Friends Like These. Seems like the EFF is using every opportunity to gain some popularity ahead of the elections in May, and DJ Sbu may owe some of his artists some money after this.

MAGESH GOES FROM TKZEE TO TKOs
Seams like Magesh is moering people for a living now. A failing career and a guilty concious about running over someone in Botswana can do that to you. After he beat up his former group member Zwai Bala last week, a partner of Magesh has come out to reveal more stories about the failed artist. Kasket, his partner, alleged that Magesh once moered him during a business discussion. Kasket said: “We always fight as he gets carelessly drunk. But I’ll never leave him. I know that his current behaviour is not normal. It’s alcohol-related.” Close friends also claim that Magesh has problems with booze. Sunday Sun has learnt that Kabelo Mabalane, a member of TKZee, allegedly wants nothing to do with Magesh. Kasket, who worked with Kalawa Jazmee before he left to team up with Magesh, said he now regrets it. A friend told Sunday Sun: “We tried to talk him into seeing a psychologist, but he insists he’s okay.”

KID CUDI UPDATE:Life After GOOD MUSIC

Kid Cudi stopped by the "Arsenio Hall Show" Friday night, March 14, to discuss what he would change about the current state of hip hop and perform his new song "Internal Bleeding."Cudi said the "braggadocio, 'money, cash, hoes' thing is dead," and that it is holding hip hop as a culture back. Getting worked up just talking about his gripes with hip hop, Cudi shared his mission since day one. "All I wanted to do was help kids not feel alone, and stop kids from committing suicide," he said. "I dealt with suicide for the past few years. There wasn't a week or a day that went by where I was like, 'I wanna check out.'"Lightening the mood, Cudi stated that if he rapped about all of his possessions, "there would be no Drake." While Cudi's jab seems to have been made in good fun, we're not sure Drake will see it that way.
