Khuli Chana's Camp Not Aware of Alleged Attempted Murder Charges Against Him (Statement)

Khuli Chana's publicist, Sheila Afari, is having to do some real work for once and some serious damage control since the police decided the only way we would look up to them is if they were "shooting stars". I can imagine her work had become some what routine with the success of Khuli having no real bumps in the road. And then her number 1 star gets shot by the police and all of a sudden she has to pick up a book on how to address issues no one could imagine would ever happen.

This year Khuli's life has unexpectedly become a roller coaster ride, mainly the part of the roller coaster that goes uppppp up up up up....Then suddenly goes down. Fortunately the public is on Khuli's side mostly and the cops keep showing us their incompetence on a weekly basis.

Last night, 2 October 2013, twitter went crazy with allegations that the police had now pressed charges against Khuli Chana for trying to run over a cop before he was shot at. This apparently first leaked on some new radio station, Power FM, then twitter went crazy with the information and other online magazines like Eye witness News and Drum started spreading the story. Being the patient, cool headed "journo" I am I was patient enough to wait for Kuhli's side to speak and they released this statement about the charges:

Statement on behalf Khuli Chana:

"We are not aware of any attempted murder charges against Khuli Chana. We will however not be surprised should Khuli be charged with this trumped up charge 5 days after the event as every day new allegations against him are being made, none of which were addressed nor stated on Monday either at the scene or thereafter by the SAPS. We however trust that should Khuli indeed be charged with attempted murder, he will be vindicated when the case is sent to the DPP for his decision" - Sheila Afari, Khuli Chana's publicist
