When Drake drops his sophomore album later this year, fans could be hearing plenty ofStevie Wonder on it.
"He helped me out with a lot of the music, just came and sat with me, listened to my music, told me where I could add a couple things to make it more sonically appealing, and not only that but we actually are writing together," Drake said to MuchMusic following his Sunday show in Toronto where Wonder joined him on stage.
The "Successful" hip-hopper added that he's "honored" to call the Motown great "a very close friend" who embraced him when he was first starting out in the music business a few years back.
Drake, who is scheduled to release his "Take Care" album on Oct. 24, revealed he and Wonder were "supposed to do two songs" during the recording sessions but the "Songs in the Key of Life" legend "did like six," Drake said. "It was incredible."
