From Hip-Hop To House (Nothende's New Album) - First Relo decides to ditch the skwatta camps hip-hop leaves you in and switched to "house". Now Nothende is following in the same footsteps, well good for them. Relo got a Metro Music Award for her move, and some moola I guess, Nothende wants the same kind of success. Before partnering with Lulo Cafe on "I Wanna Love You", she had worked with the likes of Proverb, Prokid and other big hip-hop artists. As good as she was with hip-hop, the genre didn't open doors as much as a genre like House would. Lulo Cafe was the man in tights who saved her from the gloomy hip-hop industry and opened more doors for her locally and internationally.
Nothende's album is being produced by Lira's producer Tshepo Sekele, so we can only expect the best in soulful music. Look out for "Lovelight" in stores now.
