Affion's a rapper, actor, comedian, writer dancer, music producer and director. After getting his Business Degree he decided to raid the entertainment industry. Affion was introduced to the world on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam in 1996, demonstrating his impressions and physical comedy, for which he was labeled the next Jim Carrey.[citation needed] He also shows his range with dramatic turns onCSI: NY, NYPD Blue and The District. He was appeared on MTV's Wild 'n Out and Short Circuitz with Nick Cannon. He has starred on Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Cedric The Entertainer’s Show. Crockett also co-starred in the films,Dance Flick with the Wayans Brothers, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins with Martin Lawrence, and Soul Men withSamuel L. Jackson and the late Bernie Mac.
Affion has made online sketch/parody videos that have garnered over 34 million views on YouTube.[citation needed] This caught the attention of hip-hop mogul, Russell Simmons and resulted in the launch of an original online comedy series titled Hustles with Russells starring the two. This also sparked a viral commercial campaign starring Dr. Dre, Lebron James, and Affion himself.
Affion is starring in and producing his own sketch comedy show for Fox which is also executive produced by Jamie Foxx.
Affion resides in Los Angeles, California. In addition to his screen time, he is greatly involved in his production company, Lejan Entertainment, Inc.
