Morale, Sean Pages and Don Juan from Octave Couplet recorded a video directed at HYPE Magazine to expose it for not paying them on songs and production they did on previous HYPE CDs. In the video Don Juan MC's the slaughter of the mag known for their manipulation on South Africa's meek Hip-Hop industry. Don Juan says Sean Page instigated the act, calling him a coward for running away from the camera at the last minute(in a friendly manner). Morale states that HYPE hasn't paid him R800 for a track he put on HYPE, Sean Page and Don Juan did not disclose their amounts due.
Vuzu TV gave the current editor Simone a call queering this who denied everything obviously, saying Don Juan is just seeking attention. She also says Don was paid the most amount of money for mixing and mastering the HYPE disc so he shouldn't complaining. If big stars are complaining about payment, I wonder how many little people HYPE has screwed over. Get it together HYPE.
