I'd like to begin this article with the premise that by jerk, I mean a gentleman who isn’t a pushover, stands his ground and doesn’t dedicate his entire time spent with women to please them. In this piece a “jerk” is by no means intended to be derogatory or demeaning. In this piece the word “jerk” is the good guy.
Gentlemen, the modern dating scene is a gruesome war played out to the sound track of “50/50”, “bills,bills,bills” and “J.O.B”. Gone are the days when women just assumed the passenger seat and let you drive while keeping mum. Today, she’ll still let you drive but only if taught by her and only her. And when she’s trained her obedient little lapdog she will look at her product, be pleased, tell you to go fetch the kids and call the “jerk’ proclaiming her undying love for him.
Women are like little kids. They are never really happy with what they have and will always try to push you and your boundaries as far as they can. They will push you over the edge if you have no backbone. Your partner must know who is the man from the start as it’s very difficult to come back from Mr. Yes Darling to Mr. Man. Her pride will make her leave you if she feels like she’s loosing ground. Ever gave a child a sweet and then took it away? Your best bet is to not give up your balls in the first place. Don’t be a sell-out, be yourself always and only compromise the necessary bits. Relationships are about a two way compromise not one.
In courtship you obviously have to be charming to bowl her over but that doesn’t mean you must forget who you are. Get her by being you. That’s the only way to start a long and happy relationship where she will love you forever because she will love the real you, your friends and lifestyle. If she thinks you are a jerk then let her go. She’s not the right fit. The odds are she’ll go find some fake Mr. Yes but still dream of you because jerks are nothing but real men being real. Women adore soft, sensitive men but can’t stay away from real men because that’s just how they are programmed. Real men make them feel alive because that’s when she truly feels like a woman. I repeat: Women fall for the “jerks” because that’s how nature intended it to be.
