Teko Modise's "The life I'm living" - Reality Cheque

Teko Modise has done very well for himself. Despite his disappointing performances at the Confederations and World Cup recently, he has done more good than bad for his team and his country. But more so for himself.

This is Teko Modise's "The life I'm Living":

Past:
Teko grew up in Soweto born 1982, so you can imagine the life he used to live. He played soccer in the streets, hung out "ekhoneni" and ofcourse dreamt of a better life. So he perfected his game and played himself out of the dirt. Before Pirates he was naturally a Chiefs supporter, but played for Ria Stars and City Pillars in Limpopo. The life we care about though started when Pirates decided to make him rich.






Present "The life I'm living"
In 2009 he was driving a BMW645, he also owned an Audi RS4 at the time. Now he drives an Aston Martin DB9. Beats the days of taxi's and driving other people's cars. He lives in North riding in a house worth millions of rands with his wife and kid. As if that's not enough he's rumoured to have girls on the side aswell. And how can he afford all of this? Well... Teko became Samsung's brand embassodor S.A in June 2009 and also represents Coca Cola, Telkom, Brother's for Life and was McDonalds face during the world cup. Did I mention he's also brand ambassador aswell? That put together translates to millions of rands.
He has achieved it all now, which could explain his slacking performance, there's no more reason to work so hard.
