Muggz - From stardom to star DOM

Real talk is he had the chance and he blew it. Maggz had all the contacts but still wasn't seeing right. The near perfect opportunity to be the next leading rapper after Prokid. Prokid was Weezy and Maggz was Drake ready to kill 'em all. But something went wrong... What exactly you may ask?!?!?!? Well the true answer is with Maggz, until we can reach him for comment some speculation is in order.

The Break Out, his one and only album we know of after he left Prokid. Was he breaking out of Prokid's shadow? Maybe he just got used to people saying that he's S.A's next big emcee that he assumed he was better than a "PROtégé" and could do it himself. It doesn't take a scientist to recognise that he was wrong.
Did him and Maggz actually fight or...?
Do't think so, honestly I think Maggz spoke to Prokid man to man saying he wants to try this on his own and make his own way. As honourable as it seemed it was the biggest mistake of his rap career. He went from potential stardom to  real star DOM.

I would never doubt Maggz's lyrical talent. He's still dope on the mic. Tighter than many of the hip hop artists out right now, maybe top 5 in the country. But what he did was DOM. The other theory could be that TS Records couldn't or didn't want to accommodate a fully English rapper to their stable. I doubt that. Pro would have still continued to feature Maggz despite that. Now are they even talking to each other? Looks like Maggz is the protege of a new crew now. The Glitz gang where L'Tido is Weezy... Maggz don't mess this one up.

As DOM as he was, hopefully he has learnt his lesson. We'll see what he does with the L'Tido/Bongz movement. He's still respected by rappers but less by businessmen. The ball's in your court man
