Kid Cudi - A breath of fresh rap

                                                                       Enough of the traditional bling bling, ending repetitive snares and back that ass up rap. When Kid Cudi dropped his 1st big single, Day and Night, you would've sworn he was on a pop/rap tip. But as you listened to more of the album you could see that Cudi is something else.

Martian music as he and Kanye describe it, the Kanye/Cudi partnership was destined to be. Not because they've made the most memorable hits, they haven't really, but because Kanye understands Cudi is crazy and unique like he is. That ends up reflecting in the music they make. Cudi has also worked with MGMT and DJ Guetta just to illustrate his diversity.
