The earnings for 2010 are calculated between June 2009 and June 2010. The golden oldies raked in the most, U2 came in at number 1 with $130 million dollars, with AC/DC at number 2 with $114 million dollars. They earned most of their moola from successful tours that sold over 1.3 million tickets (U2) and AC/DC 2.3 millionper show. Beyonce came in 3rd with 87 million, out-earning Jay Z for a 2nd year in a row. She's is the highest earning female musician once again. Most of her money came from endorsement dealsand her clothing line House of Derion. Other women on the chart was Lady Gaga who made 62 million and Madonna made 58 mil. Jay Z came in number 6 with 48 million, from all his investments, his 40/40 nightclub and the Blue print 3 album. He made $1 million dollars per state in the US. He also cashed in some moola from his Basketball team, THE NETS, and investing in a Broadway musical "Fela".
